We go to Lovejoy’s pretty frequently. We love having tea there and the scones are delicious! Our favorite thing though is Indian Night. You need reservations, you need to have time to devote to enjoying a four course meal, but no where else will you have a better meal with a nicer bunch of folks. Saag paneer I you!

October 23, 2017I eat here almost weekly, love the place. Excellent food, hearty and healthy. They have a lot of teas to choose from, I suggest the Yorkshire Gold. The Salmon bisque soup, the meatloaf special and the chicken curry sandwich are a must. They do an Indian dinner once a month also, I don't miss them. It's authentic Indian and they make it spicy, not spicy and a vegetarian version so we all get a taste of what we like. The two ladies that run the place, mother and daughter do a great job of making you feel welcome. I suggest you reserve the wing back chairs, you may fall asleep. Cheers!

October 7, 2017My family of six made reservations on their Indian food night our table was not ready when we got there. there wasn't that many people in there so I don't understand why our table was not ready. Not enough food was provided for our family and all the food was very Bland and flavorless we waited forever to get our food to get drinks the service was friendly but terrible. I was so excited to go there for their Indian food night and I was let down horribly for the amount of money that we paid for the dinner it was pretty ridiculous what we got served.

October 6, 2017My group of ladies have lunch here every Wednesday. The food is fabulous, the daily specials change every week, the variety of teas are excellent. The Burnem family who own and operate the restaurant are awesome. A must for lunch if you're in town. Reservations a must.

September 20, 2017While we usually enjoy our many trips to Lovejoys, yesterday's trip was an exception. Our breakfast was way below standard. The baked beans looked and tasted like they were over cooked in a microwave. The sausages rolls were bad, the sausage was hard and the pastry was limp. The bacon was dry and hard even though we asked for the bacon not to be over cooked. We are hoping this was an isolated bad experience.

September 17, 2017The food is wonderful. The people are wonderful. Can't think of enough superlatives to describe it. Best clam chowder in town (I don't like the thick stuff). Excellent weekly specials for something a bit different from the regular menu. A wide and varied selection of teas, naturally, and High Tea if you're so inclined. Plus really good French press coffee, too. And Heather's desserts are to die for! Oh! And a special dinner monthly (many times, but not always, the exotic foods of India).

June 5, 2017When we were planning our retirement budget a few years ago, my husband and I specifically put in a monthly lunch at Lovejoy's. The atmosphere always relaxes me, and every food item i have eaten there over the past five years has been great to taste and an enjoyment to eat. The owners are hospitable and so friendly. I cant say enough good things about Lovejoy's.

June 3, 2017What a gem! Small, but so comfortable. All homemade, but a gourmet delight. Sophisticated, but cozy. I've passed by Lovejoy's many times, but this was my first visit. Met three friends here for lunch and on a busy day we were made to feel as if we were the only customers - or at least the most important ones. Between us we tried the Mocha Coffee and three wonderful teas (Blooming Jasmine is an amazing visual experience), Salmon Bisque, Mixed Greens Salad, Roasted Red Pepper Quiche, Vegetable Pasty, and Cottage Pie. Scones with Clotted Cream and Jam for dessert. Every bite, from start to finish, was delicious. Everything, down to the clever use of clothes clips, was perfect. Attentive without hovering, the staff here knows every dish on the menu and every nuance of every tea. It would be a shame to be in Florence and not visit Lovejoy's. (Also reviewed on Yelp.)

August 27, 2016What a delightful surprise when we found Lovejoys in a new location in Old Town Florence. Then to discover it is now a beautiful tearoom. My husband and I enjoyed our pot of Jasmine Blossom tea, our delicious lunch, and raisin bread pudding dessert. Yum! Thank you Heather and Hannah (did I spell your name right?) We will definitely make it back to see you the next time we are in town.

March 30, 2016When I lived in Florence Oregon, this was one of the best places to have a spot of tea, especially their famous Royal Tea! What a treat! Marvelous food and tea, and the owners are the nicest people... and her scones are to die for... Never have tasted any as good as hers! I have been to a few tea houses since I moved to California many years ago, but my heart will always be with Lovejoy's in Oregon!!

March 4, 2016My husband and I, and a dear friend, had the loveliest couple of hours here on our honeymoon! The experience was totally new to James and he repeated how "nice an afternoon" it was a dozen times throughout the remainder of the day. The food was delicious, the atmosphere delightful and the owners so kindhearted and genuine! A truly beautiful memory!

August 4, 2015We happened on Lovejoy's totally by accident. (Just wanted some clam chowder and Mo's was PACKED). It was one of the greatest accidents we've had. Instead of rather run of the mill chowder, we had an excellent homemade chowder and fish there. I loved it so much, we have made the drive to Florence from Eugene a couple of times, solely to enjoy the amazing Royal Tea. The owners are friendly and engaging, and the tea is presented in a true fashion on adorable tiered tea trays, finger cut sandwiches, little scones, the full experience. I just love this place!
