"Have been back twice and shall go again. I would like to open a shop locally similar to this establishment. Well worth the time expended to experience this Tea Room. The food was delicious by the way"

It's a lovely little restaurant where you can feel pampered and the food is good!

"The staff was very friendly, and the food served was fresh and delicious.  While I did not try the quiche (I wanted tea sandwiches) I heard every one around me raving about it, and they ran out while we where there"

"My husband and I enjoyed lunch at Lovejoys We shared the Royal Tea and the orange chicken lunch special. Delicious and the best meal of our trip! We had loose leaf Earl Grey tea.The tea was huge. It started off with a large green salad with a tasty dressing and sunflower seeds on top. Next to that was a grain salad with fresh herbs. My sandwiches and sausage rolls were tasty. The scone was perfect and came hot from the oven with creme fresh, jam and home made lemon curd. Mmm. Dessert was a petifour and chocolate biscut. The orange chicken came with soup or salad and we had the veggie chicken soup. It was awsome. The orange chicken was in a sweet, spiced marmalade sauce and was served with a spiced rice. My husband said it reminded him of Christmas dinner. Everything was beautifully presented but not too fussy. The owners were very friendly and service was great."

"Lovejoy's is a traditional English tea room. Rich in color and texture, it features lemon yellow walls with rich red tapestry draperies and an abundance of floral prints. The tea cozies are coordinated in the same fabrics as the tablecloths. A mismatched assortment of china adds cozy ambiance and a sense of comfort. Owned by a husband and wife team, the wife cooks and the husband is the server. Antiques, framed art, and a small gift shop help create a comfortable space. This tea room is unique in that it is frequented by local community members on a daily basis --- a great place for lunch and afternoon tea. Lacking in fru-fru, it exudes honesty and authentic welcome. Lunch, a simple pot of tea, cream teas, and afternoon teas are all available."
